FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
With a career of more than 25 years, Dean Thompson built a reputation as one of Britain’s leading property entrepreneurs. An aspiring young golfer, he turned to property after uncovering a new passion for wealth creation.
His track record has been phenomenal. He has generated market-leading returns, helping funds, individuals and investment companies maximise growth and profits. Now, he delivers advice and insights to our growing list of worldwide private clients and is at the forefront of our own portfolio growth.

Colin has a career in property spanning 30+ years. Having graduated with a BA Hons & Diploma in Town Planning from the School of Architecture, Town Planning & Estate Management, Oxford in 1983, he started his career in land acquisition, Colin’s first role was land buyer for volume builder Wimpey Homes and later for Alfred McAlpine PLC as Director with responsibility for land acquisition, planning and development functions in McAlpine’s north of England region

At the age of 31, Colin established his own property business which expanded over a period of three years prior to its merger with Linden Plc, a venture capital backed start-up financed by 3i, Mercury Asset Management and Bank of Scotland.
Colin and his co-directors achieved a full market listing of Linden in 1996 as a quoted house builder which went on to establish start-ups in other regions and to acquire a number of private businesses. By 2000 the business had five operating regions with a turnover of £144m, pre-tax profits of £15.4m and net assets of £52m.
Management undertook an MBO in 2001, valued at £250 million, supported by HBOS. Colin exited and started Muller Property Group, now a privately owned business with interests in residential and commercial development, investment, strategic land promotion and asset management.
